Frank Thompson Hall
NC State University Raleigh, NC
North Carolina State University's Frank Thompson Hall was originally constructed in 1925 to support the University's athletic programs.
Over the years, the “Old Thompson Gym” housed an extraordinary mix of campus programs. In 1964, the “Crafts Shop” moved from the Erdahl-Cloyd Student Union to the lower level of the Frank Thompson Building. In the 1970s, the main floor of the former gymnasium became the official home for NC State's student theatre program.
J•PA's comprehensive renovation transformed this historic facility into a state-of-the-art showcase for theatre, dance and crafts.
