Flex Lab Building
NC State University   Raleigh, NC

The two-story, 45,000-sf Flex Lab Building is a collaborative effort between NC State University and Capital Associates, a private developer.  The project represents the first public-private venture on the University's Centennial Biomedical Research Campus.

Located across from the University's Veterinary School, the Flex Lab Building will accommodate private industry partners to mutually benefit the Veterinary School and Hospital initiatives.  The open floor plan provides ultimate flexibility for occupants with varied lab layout requirements.

The architecture blends with the adjacent NCSU Vet Lab Building 1, featuring brick, cast stone, clear anodized aluminum and clear glass facades.  It is sited to tie into the central courtyards that are part of the Campus Master Plan.
