The School of Education
UNC Wilmington

Designed to support 21st century technology while encouraging human interaction, the 82,000-sf building uses space in creative ways to extend the learning environment beyond the classroom.

The interior atrium’s elegant exposed structural steel members create a sky-filled canopy that bathes the three-story interior with natural light.
Gathering points along the arcade encourage discussion and offer alternative settings for study groups and interactive teaching.
