Bob Daughtridge Softball Clubhouse

The new Bob Daughtridge Softball Clubhouse elevates the student-athlete experience at UNC Charlotte. Located adjacent to the existing softball field, the facility provides a permanent home for the 49ers Softball program and supports the team’s continued growth and success. The design includes a spacious locker room, team lounge, training and equipment spaces, and offices for the coaching staff—creating a cohesive environment for preparation, recovery, and team building. A new entry plaza and improved circulation reinforce a stronger connection between the clubhouse, field, and fan amenities. Tailored to the needs of the program and aligned with the 49er’s athletic brand, the building’s design balances functionality with a bold visual identity, contributing to the long-term development of Charlotte’s athletic facilities.
