Occupying an 11-acre site, Venture Center was one of the first ‘R&D Neighborhoods’ on NC State’s Centennial Campus. The complex supports cutting-edge research and client-driven training programs aligned to the University’s strengths in science, engineering, and technology.
J•PA worked with NC State and Craig Davis Properties to master plan and develop this 11-acre site on the Centennial Campus. The complex includes four 110,000-sf R&D / office buildings, a 25,000-sf retail/office building, and a 1700-car parking deck.
The site was planned around the University’s concept for a walkable campus of ‘Neighborhoods and Paths’ and features two courtyards linked by a central pedestrian pathway. The buildings were sited to shield the parking garage from major campus thoroughfares.
